Organization Description:
L & R Showcases is a very small maker of wooden based display cases located
in North Carolina. They produce handmade, stained and painted wood display
cases with mirrors on 3 sides to showcase trinkets, kick-knacks, etc., such
as Nascar and other die cast collectibles.
Objective:
L & R came to us while their business was in its infancy. Their customer
base was limited to extreme local collectors and visitors to Craft Fairs they
attended. They originally contracted IWS to design and assist with setup for
their eBay Store. Since then, they have grown to have their own "home"
on the Internet.
Solution:
IWS implemented and designed an eBay Storefront for L & R Showcases. While
their desire to reach more potential customers grew, we grew with them by
designing a traditional shopping cart to resemble the design we did for their
eBay presence. Our staff developed a modern design to their specifications
and later integrated an osCommerce based shopping cart. We continue to support
L & R with Content Management and consultation for traditional marketing
and eMarketing options.
